ACYWOWorld staff working meeting was held

Armenian Church World Youth Union (ACYOWorld) continues its activities with the blessing of His Holiness Garegin II, Catholicos of All Armenians.

On January 19 of this year, ACYOWorld staff online working meeting of the beginning of the year was held under the presidency of His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, ACYOWorld Primate.

The clergy present at the meeting prayed for the soldiers who fell victim to the tragic incident that took place in the Armenian army on the same day in the morning.

Very Reverend Archimandrite Tovma Khachatryan, ACYOWorld Spiritual Rector, Director of the Central Office summed up the activities of the previous year.

Relevant instructions and directives were received by His Eminence Hovnan Derderian concerning the events intended for this year. Among the topics of discussion were the changes in ACYOWorld General Guide, holding of the Pan-Armenian pilgrimage in July with the title "Holy Etchmiadzin- the birthplace of our faith", in connection with the year of the opening of Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin, as well as the pilgrimage to Holy Etchmiadzin to be organized at the initiative of the youth in September from dioceses. Regional forums to be held this year were also discussed.

In order to discuss the implementation of these and other issues, it was decided to convene an online Assembly of Chairmen on February 10 of this year, the persons responsible for youth affairs of the dioceses of the Armenian Church will be invited to participate in it.
