On May 23, the last lecture of the "God's will" 7-week course, the topic of which was "The Bible and the Church", was held at the office of the Armenian Church World Youth Union (ACYOWorld).
The lecturers were ACYOWorld Spiritual Rector Very Reverend Archimandrite Tovma Khachatryan and an assistant to ACYOWorld Rector Respected Deacon Davit Azaryan. Reference was made to the mission of the Church founded by our Lord Jesus Christ and his disciples, the ecclesiastical orders/degrees, the similarities and differences between the classifications of apostles-disciples-fathers-teachers(doctor/vardapet), the saints and challenges faced by the Church in the modern world. "God’s will" course started and ended with the Lord's Prayer.
The aim of the course is to impart practical Biblical knowledge to young people, which will help them find answers to questions of vital importance to them.
The course will be on an ongoing basis.
ACYOWorld operates under the auspices of the Catholicos of All Armenians and under the leadership of His Eminence Archbishop Hovhnan Derderian. The mission of the organization is to unite global Armenian church-loving youth.
