With the blessing of ACYOWorld spiritual inspector, Rev. Fr. Tovma Khachatryan, the "Know Me, Young Person" ACYOWorld Bible course was held for the youth at the ACYOWorld office on May 8. The course was led by Arax Poghosyan, ACYOWorld Information Affairs Officer. The program commenced with the Lord's Prayer.
"Know Me, Young Person" is a methodological guide presented with a slideshow that helps young people gain a comprehensive understanding of the two books of the Bible — the Old and New Testaments — and their interrelation through patristic interpretations. It also aids in properly navigating the reading of biblical texts.
The entire course is structured on the principle of simultaneously exploring the Old and New Testaments as a unified whole.
The course was accompanied by spiritually themed games and interactive discussions. Rubina Khachatryan and Anzhelika Hovhannisyan participated as volunteers.
ACYOWorld operates under the auspices of the Catholicos of All Armenians and under the leadership of His Eminence Archbishop Hovhnan Derderian. The organization unites global Armenian church-loving youth unions.
