As part of the 'Bridge: Youth-Community Context' program, the third community meeting of the Shirak Diocese Youth Union was held with the youth from the Isaakyan and Baghravan communities.
The main goal of the "Bridge: Youth-Community Context" program is to promote the participation of youth from 8 communities in Shirak region in decision-making within their communities, as well as to raise awareness of the existing issues in their communities, strengthen inter-community connections, and facilitate the exchange of experiences.
Within the framework of the fourth community meeting, the importance of civic education was discussed with the youth. Through interactive games, individual and group activities, we addressed topics such as leadership, volunteerism, and youth work. Together with the youth, we mapped out the community issues.
At the end of the workshop, as part of the program's environmental component, the youth cleaned the area around the Baghravan St. Ascension Chapel.
The program is implemented with the support of the WCC Armenia Round Table Foundation, in collaboration with the "Khachmeruk" Educational Advisory Center Foundation and the Shirak Diocese Youth Union.
