On February 18, with the blessing of His Grace Bishop Mkrtich Proshyan, the youth unions of the diocese undertook a pilgrimage to the Holy Apostles Monastery of Sevan on the occasion of Red Sunday. There, with the blessing of His Grace Bishop Artak Tigranyan, overseer of the monastic brotherhood, Divine Liturgy was celebrated by the spiritual leader of the diocesan youth unions, the Reverend Father Paren Arakelyan.
Alongside seminarians in the sanctuary, youth union members who serve as altar servers also assisted during the liturgy.
The celebrant of the Divine Liturgy was the Very Reverend Father Shahe Ananyan, Principal of the Gevorkian Theological Seminary and the Vazgenian Theological School of Sevan. Present at the liturgy was also the Reverend Father Minas Martirosyan, abbot of the Holy Apostles Monastery.
Following the liturgy, a meeting took place with the seminarians. The youth presented their activities within the diocese, while the seminarians spoke about their vocation, vision, and readiness to serve the Church.
The youth union members toured the seminary, familiarized themselves with its educational and prayerful daily life, once again emphasizing that the seminary is not only a place of education but also a living environment of spiritual experience.
