With the blessing of His Grace Bishop Mkrtich Proshyan, Primate of the Aragatsotn Diocese, an intellectual competition titled "The Youth is the Strength of the Church" was held on April 13 among the diocesan youth unions.
At the beginning of the event, the Reverend Father delivered his blessing and welcome speech to the participants.
Around 60 young people from 7 teams, formed from 16 youth unions of the diocese, took part in the competition.
The teams were selected through a pre-organized lottery.
The winning team of the competition was the joint team of the Shenavan and Aragats communities.
The event also featured performances by students of the Gulameryan Hayordats House of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin in Ashtarak.
