With the blessing of the Primate of the Aragatsotn Diocese, His Grace Bishop Mkrtich Proshyan, a lecture on "Patriotism and Christianity" was delivered to about 60 members of the diocesan youth unions. The lecture was conducted by Very Reverend Fr. Shahe Ananyan, a Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin member and the Dean of the Gevorgian Theological Seminary and the Vaskenian Theological Academy of Sevan.
Reflecting on love for God and patriotism, Fr. Shahe emphasized the importance of showing practical love toward both God and the homeland, stating: "It is important to practice both patriotism and love for God in action. We must understand the mission God has called us and continue our lives guided by that mission."
At the end of the lecture, Fr. Shahe answered various questions from the young participants. On behalf of the youth, Rev. Fr. Paren Arakelyan, the spiritual responsible for the youth unions, expressed gratitude to Fr. Shahe, emphasizing the importance of continuing such meetings and fostering further collaboration.
The event, held on February 18, was attended by clergy members and representatives of diocesan youth unions.
