On June 27, at the Kotayk Diocese headquarters, the Primate, His Grace Archbishop Arakel Karamyan, met with the youth who have been serving in various churches of the diocese for many years.
Heeding the request of the diocese priests, the Holy Father will confer the degree of the Diaconate upon these young individuals on the upcoming Feast of Transfiguration.
In his speech, Archbishop Arakel highlighted the importance of the degree of the Diaconate, noting that serving the Holy Armenian Apostolic Church in any capacity is a great honor for everyone.
The meeting with the priests and deacons of the diocese began and ended with prayer.
