On March 3 of this year, at the initiative of the Student Scientific Society of the Faculty of Law at Yerevan State University, a lecture was held on the topic “The Constitutional and Legal Status of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church in Domestic and Foreign Policy.”

The speakers were Rev. Fr. Tovma Archimandrite Khachatryan, a member of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, ACYOWorld Spiritual Rector, and Director of the Central Office, as well as Gevorg Danielyan, a member of the Supreme Spiritual Council, Chair of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law at the YSU Faculty of Law, Doctor of Law, and Professor.

During the discussion that followed the lecture, the role and significance of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church in the history of the Armenian people and today were presented, along with the relationship between the Church and the state.
