ACYOWorld Spiritual Rector's visit to South America starts

With the blessing of His Holiness Garegin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians and under the leadership of His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, ACYOWorld Primate, Armenian Church World Youth Union (ACYOWorld) is holding Regional and Diocesan forums in Armenia and abroad. ACYOWorld Russia and CIS (Kislovodsk), ACYOWorld Europe (Brussels, Prague), ACYOWorld Middle East and Africa Regional forums have taken place by now.

At the invitation of the Armenian Dioceses of South America, the visit of Archimandrite Tovma Khachatryan, ACYOWorld Spiritual Rector, Director of the Central Office, to the Armenian Dioceses of South America will start from May 1. In particular, Holy Father will visit the Armenian dioceses of Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay to hold ACYOWorld diocesan forums.

As in the previous ACYOWorld regions, meetings will also take place here with diocesan primates, members of local youth unions and spiritual people in-charge.Within the framework of the visit, courses and talks aimed at stimulating Christian youth work, youth community life will take place. The young people themselves will make suggestions aimed at activating community life and youth work and will find solutions as a result of joint discussions.

The experience and feedback from the previous forums prove that courses aimed at the professionalization of Christian youth work deeply interested young people and those are being brought to life in individual dioceses by now.
