Holy Harutyun Church of Nerkin Dvin

Holy Resurrection (Harutyun) Church in Nerkin Dvin, Ararat region։

The blessing of Holy Resurrection (Harutyun) Church was performed in 1996 by the Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin I. The church was consecrated in 2000 by Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II. It is made of red tuff, has a rectangular plan, there are apses on both sides of the altar. According to the young people of the church, the church is the dearest place, the fortress and the pillar of the their soul.

The priest of the church is Father David Sahakyan.

The ACYOWorld Central Office launches the "My Church, My Community" program, within the framework of which the ACYO Diocesan youth present the churches of their community and their history.

The “My Church, my community” program joins to the series of initiatives dedicated to the 20-th anniversary of the enthronement and activities of His Holiness Karekin II. Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians․

Within the framework of this initiative, the diocesan young members of ACYO, through video recordings, present churches of their communities and their history.
