With the blessing of His Holiness Garegin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, and under the leadership of ACYOWorld Primate: His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Armenian Church World Youth Union (ACYOWorld) continues its youth-centered activities.
On January 27, Armenian Apostolic Holy Church celebrates the Feast of Saint Sargis the Captain, Patron of youth and love, his son Martiros and 14 soldiers. With the order of His Holiness Garegin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, the feast is proclaimed day of blessing of the youth.
On January 26, on the occasion of the feast of Saint Sargis, in Saint Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral of Yerevan, with the blessing of the Dean of the church: His Grace Fr. Bishop Anushavan Jamkochyan, ACYOWorld spiritual Rector, director of the Central Office, Very Reverend Archimandrite Tovma Khachatryan, together with the clergymen of the church, held an Order of Blessing of the youth at the end of the Evening service. At the invitation of ACYOWorld office, among other young people the youth of Diocese of Artsakh also took part in the Order of Blessing.
