St. Hovhannes the Evangelist Church in Artashat

Ararat Patriarchal Diocese, Artashat, St. Hovhannes the Evangelist Church ♰։ St. Hovhannes the Evangelist Church in Artashat, the foundation of which was laid on October 29, 2002. The church was consecrated in 2015 by His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of all Armenians. The consecration of the church brought an essential role and change in the historical Artashat. The church has a youth union that assists the clergy in initiating and organizing various social and educational programs. It seeks to keep generations connected to the church. The priest of the church is Father Tatul Gasparyan.

The ACYOWorld Central Office launches the "My Church, My Community" program, within the framework of which the ACYO Diocesan youth present the churches of their community and their history.

The “My Church, my community” program joins to the series of initiatives dedicated to the 20-th anniversary of the enthronement and activities of His Holiness Karekin II. Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians․

Within the framework of this initiative, the diocesan young members of ACYO, through video recordings, present churches of their communities and their history.
