Holy Resurrection (Harutyun) is the only Armenian Apostolic Church in Kharkov region. The church was consecrated on August 24, 2004 by Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II. It took 4 years to build the church. It was built by the joint efforts of the Armenians of Kharkov region. It is a unique structure.
In the territory of the church is placed a khachkar (a cross stone) and a monument dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Holy Resurrection Church is the place that unites the Armenian people. This is the organizing force that inspires hope, faith in every Armenian, the place where ritual and secular ceremonies take place. The priest of the church is Father Karapet Gharibyan.
