The goal of the “My Diocese” initiative is to unite ACYOWorld diocesan youth of the Diaspora on the occasion of the Holy Resurrection feast to join the prayers of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, in support of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and all Armenians. The initiative also aims to raise the voice of the youth and make them heard, as heirs of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
The program provides an opportunity for young people from different corners of the world to unite their prayers and wishes on the occasion of the Holy Resurrection feast and make each other heard.
Background
Considering the situation caused by the Coronavirus pandemic, when young people did not have the opportunity to go to church and offer their prayers to God there on the Holy Resurrection feast, ACYOWorld Central Office initiated for the first time and implemented the “My Diocese” two-month program in April and May 2020.
